Today was the school’s Christmas Fair. Standing at the book stall, one title jumped out at me: it was a library book and it was long overdue.
My teaching colleagues are in stitches that I could spot it from a table full of books, including a lot of former library stock, never mind know it was overdue. I’m scunnered that I’ve been asking for this book to be returned for years and when it’s returned to the school, it’s for a sale!
At least I got in back – and in perfect nick too 🙂 Problem is, how do I persuade everyone else hangng onto old books to send them back to their rightful place?
